Ouch! My freakin’ ears! Our most obscenity-laden podcast to date! No more description needed, honestly, cuz’ in this crazy business, dirt sells. Just make sure that the kids and Grandma are out of the room before you listen.

Tuesday, Monday, whatever – The day doesn’t matter when you’re providing information and entertainment of such consistently high caliber. The only thing that matters is that you listen. To us. All the time.
News, Views, Gossip and much much more courtesy of Phil Leirness and Dean Haglund.
Right here.
This week, Phil and Dean discuss the trials and tribulations of starting out in show business.
Is Phil the love child of Patrick McGoohan and Remington Steele? Is Dean the love child of Kirk Douglas and Glenn Close? Probably, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg this week. Dean talks about the Podcast and New Media Expo in Ontario (California, not Canada). Some new releases are debated. Then Phil makes a shocking revelation about this crazy town. It’s a stinking pool of what? What’s that Phil? No, it can’t be true!
The big two oh! Phil and Dean begin by claiming they have nothing to talk about, but then they talk for 45 minutes! Obviously they’re gonna talk about something… Listen!
We’re back! Last week was lost to our producer’s honeymoom (Go get ‘er Tiger!), but this week will more than make up for it. Today Dean and Phil discuss the Emmys, 3:10 to Yuma, Dragon Wars, AND how many times Phil has been woken up by exploding cars outside his apartment. Ka-boom!
Dean’s back from Scotland! Phil and Dean catch up on summer blockbusters and discuss the obscure gems that slipped under the radar. Phil admits to being an a**hole, although he really isn’t. We love you, Phil.
The original description of this show from 27 August 2007 (back when we were called “From the Heart of Hollywood”):
“From the Heart of Hollywood’s Super Summer continues, this time with a special guest! In fact, it’s FTHOH’s first ever guest! Listen!”
That guest was Philip Newby, a brilliant actor, and a tremendously funny and engaging man who killed himself in January 2009.
