Although this show is 85 minutes long, there’s no truth to the rumor that we will be changing our name to YOUR “Chillpak Hollywood Hour AND A HALF!” Celebrities just keep on dying and your friends in podcasting keep right on remembering them! On this week’s show, music legend João Gilberto, Disney star Cameron Boyce, “Laugh-In” comic Arte Johnson, and automotive icon Lee Iacocca have their lives and accomplishments celebrated. Then, Dean and Phil dig into the archives to sample what they were talking about 12 years ago this week. Roswell, UFOs and an ill-fated “sister” podcast all get discussed. After that, Dean and Phil share an email from a loyal listener like you (yes, YOU!) involving the best ways to ensure a television series’ quality during its entire run. This leads to a conversation about the best TV finales, the worst TV finales and how lucky we are when some awesome shows don’t even GET finales! Oh, yeah, and Phil has eye surgery and post-op procedure stories to share!

After a special 2-part “Top Ten” show counting down the all-time great comedy movies, your friends in podcasting are back with a wide array of topics to discuss. Dean recounts his New Zealand adventures and previews his forthcoming trip to the USA. He and Phil celebrate the lives of the cat-loving gorilla with the huge vocabulary, the original Bond girl, and the celebrity chef who finds himself the subject of a conspiracy theory. Two emails from a loyal listener concerning the aforementioned “Top Ten” shows lead to a couple of great filmmaking stories and the discussion of another all-time great comedy film. Dean and Phil’s former collaborator, Chris Hardwick, has found himself in #MeToo hot water, and because they have been asked about it, Dean and Phil discuss it. There is a lot of “Star Trek” news to discuss, a slew of Netflix Marvel shows to review, as well as a popular HBO drama series based on an Australian-set novel to analyze. All that AND several recent cinematic releases get reviewed, including SoloThe Incredibles 2 and Isle of Dogs.

Dean Haglund is in Fargo, North Dakota. Phil Leirness is on set somewhere, directing and producing 2nd unit on a feature film. So, how are your friends in podcasting able to bring you this brand new installment of YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour?
